The Last Time We Say Goodbye By Cynthia Hand

"The Last Time We Say Goodbye" by Cynthia Hand is an amazing read that brought me to tears multiple times.  Lex and her mother go through many ups and downs after her brother commit suicide.  Twist and turns that they never expected would happen. They do every thing they can to power through the hard times coming at them but everything just seems to be getting worse.   Times finally brighten up a little after Lex finds out she can got into MIT college.  Her life is a mess and it fells as if she is all by herself.  Her brother dead, her dad divorced from her mother, and her mother who is ripped into pieces.

This book was a very sad, but it made you begin to treasure your time with the ones you love because you never know how long they will be around. I can closely relate to Lex because my grandfather recently died, and just like Lex with her brother I would of hold him close, hugged him tighter if I knew I only had so much time left. Having this connection mad the book very person to be and one of my all time favorites.  I would recommend this to book to any teenagers, It makes you care for everything and everyone you have in you life.

I would give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
